No browsing data is shared

During normal browsing, Wider never shares data about your browsing activity anywhere. It does not collect or upload your browsing history, track the websites you visit, or send the contents of webpages to us or anyone else.

Wider changes how a webpage is displayed on your device. Safari’s website-access permission allows it to make those layout changes.

Website reports are your choice

If you want to report a website, you can do so manually through the Wider app. Reporting is entirely optional and never happens automatically.

When you choose to submit a report, only the website URL you report is shared with us so we can investigate compatibility. Your browsing history, activity on that website, and webpage contents are not included.

Preferences stay on your device

Wider stores your settings and website preferences locally on your device. It does not use analytics to monitor how you browse.
